6 Quick and Healthy Snacks Ideas!

As you may have been aware, I’ve been away for a little more than “a few weeks” as my last post said…These past few months have been some of the most challenging times I have experienced, and I am only now, in the past few weeks, managing to get back on track with my life. This has involved me making my sleeping patterns better again (no more 6:30am wake-ups! 6:00 feels like a sleep-in these days…), eating a lot better, drinking more water, doing a bit of exercise, and taking steps to make my mind, body, and spirit happy and healthy. It’s a never ending process and learning experience, but I do feel as if I am making some headway, so I thought, seen as I have a teensy bit of spare time I might try and make another blog post!

I’m Going To Be Gone For A Few Weeks…

I’m sure you were all saddened  and distraught when you realised I didn’t share a blog post last week, I am so sorry for neglecting you, my dear children ❤ …
The past week has been intense, and the next 3 weeks will be just as intense. I have exams coming up, as well as some other things going on in my life at the moment, and I’m afraid I’m going to have to hold off on posting anything for at least the next 3 weeks.

Learning To Balance Your Emotions

Over my many… many years of being alive – all 17 of them – I have continuously dealt with the management of  my emotions. During the ages of 8 to 14 I didn’t really give my emotions much thought, they were just there, I guess you could say I saw my emotions as something to flail about without any real idea as to what to do with them.

It would be easy to say I was a dramatic teenager; when I felt something I really felt it, I mean it was a full blown Nicholas Sparks novel every time something went wrong. Break-up at 13? DEVASTATION! Small argument with my mum? I HATE MY LIFE! A friend ignored me for 3 whole seconds? WHY ARE MY FRIENDS SO HORRIBLE???? Followed by endless streams of tears… It was a mess… But, 4 years on and I am happy to say that that phase has passed. How? I hear you ask, well let me tell you, friend, it was and is a never-ending journey, but just because I love you all so much I have compiled a list of some of the things I have picked up along the way that have helped me learn to balance, manage, and accept the long list of emotions that I encounter every single day.
